ADR – Initial
Initial training for drivers transporting dangerous goods by road.
An ADR Certificate is required for any driver carrying dangerous goods by road — in road tankers, tank containers, in bulk, or in scope packages above the regulated quantity thresholds. Course attendance is a legal requirement, not a recommendation. It counts as part of drivers’ hours.
Smith System runs ADR Initial training as a DVSA approved course, with Qualifications Scotland (QS) administered assessments. Every instructor is individually DVSA-approved and has come from the industry they now train.
