  1. Who needs these qualifications?

    Transport Manager CPC is required for anyone named as the Professionally Competent person on a standard operator licence — for road haulage or passenger transport. ADR certification is required for any driver transporting dangerous goods by road in tank, bulk or specified packaged form. Course attendance is a legal requirement.
  2. Are your courses approved?

    Yes. Our CPC qualifications are awarded by SEG Awards. Our ADR courses are DVSA approved and assessments are run by Qualifications Scotland (QS). Each instructor is individually approved.
  3. How are courses delivered?

    We run open public courses on a published schedule and in-house courses at your operating centre. In-house delivery is often the most cost-effective option for groups and reduces time away from operations.
  4. How long does Transport Manager CPC training take?

    Transport Manager CPC training typically takes 9 days for candidates preparing to sit both the Multiple-Choice and Case Study examinations. The course covers the full syllabus and includes comprehensive tuition, revision sessions, and mock examinations to help candidates prepare effectively for the assessments. The qualification itself is a lifetime award once obtained — though specific circumstances, such as certain convictions, can affect ongoing professional competence.
  5. How long does ADR training take?

    ADR Initial length depends on the goods being carried and the type of containment (tankers, packages, or both). ADR Refresher length depends on the modules already held and the modules being renewed. Refresher training can be taken up to twelve months before expiry; we recommend booking at least three months out.
